Meet Our Expert Trainers at Stonehenge Weightlifting

Whether you're looking to improve your Olympic lifts, build strength, or recover from injury, our experienced trainers are here to help you achieve your goals.

Monica Parucho

I began my strength training journey in 2017, having recently graduated from college and never having any proper strength training under my belt. I tried powerlifting for a year but was captivated by Olympic weightlifting. I’ve been competing in the sport since 2018 and most recently placed 2nd in the 59kg open category at the 2024 Texas-Oklahoma WSO Championship.

As a USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW L1) certified coach, I love guiding people through their strength training journeys, whether they’re beginners looking to build foundational strength or experienced lifters refining their technique. My coaching philosophy is rooted in providing a safe, encouraging, and welcoming space where individuals can push their limits and become stronger, both physically and mentally.

Dan Cole

Daniel Cole is a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in treating powerlifters, athletes, and

people who love the gym. His Strength and Conditioning programming is taken from a unique approach that centralizes around proper movement patterns as a foundation for proper movement and then building strength on top of that. This process not only achieves the results clients are looking for, but allows people to significantly reduce the potential for gym (and life) related injuries.

Additionally, Dan’s military background brings a unique perspective on functional strength in combination with weight training. As the leader for his unit’s physical fitness program in preparation for deployment, thinking long term by breaking down each step into attainable achievements is the same process in which you will achieve your lifting and health goals, whatever they may be!

What you’ll get training with Dan:

  • Program design that focuses on both quality and numbers.

  • Expertise in building better movement for life.

  • Knowledge of how to keep lifting heavy but safely.

  • Always individualized for your specific goals. Always. No cookie-cutter programming.

  • Ability to train and rehabilitate through injuries. Don’t be held back.
