Adam

Owner & Head Coach | Personal Trainer

Works with beginners, busy professionals, and competitive athletes

Adam has been coaching since 2007. Most of his clients are regular people who want to get stronger, move better, and have a coach who actually pays attention. He focuses on finding the right approach for each person — not forcing everyone into the same system.

Adam has competed in Olympic weightlifting since 2011 and has taken athletes from their first day to competing at AO Finals and Nationals. His own lifting background — 322 lb snatch, 540 lb squat — means he understands the movements from the inside out.

Monica

Team Coach | Personal Trainer

Creates a safe, encouraging space for lifters at any level

Monica started with zero experience in 2017. She knows exactly what it feels like to walk into a gym and not know what you're doing — and she coaches with that in mind. Her focus is on building foundational strength in a space where you feel supported, not judged.

Monica's background

Monica went from no experience to placing 2nd at the 2024 Texas-Oklahoma WSO Championship in the 59kg open category. She squats 295 lb and clean & jerks 220 lb — proof that the coaching here works.

Specializes in developing new athletes — morning sessions

Charles runs the morning crew — a group of adults who found Olympic lifting and strength training in their 30s and built a fun, tight-knit training environment together. He's great at making people feel welcome and keeping the energy up.

Charles's background

10 years of lifting, coaching at Stonehenge since 2019. Charles holds Masters American records and Texas state records — he knows what it takes to get there and can guide you along the way.
